Sade Meeks, MS, RD
Sadé is a writer, food activist, and lover of nutrition. Her love for food started in the kitchen with her mom while growing up in Jackson, MS. This love blossomed and led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from Mississippi University for Women and a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science from California State University, Los Angeles. Sade has self-published a food literacy cookbook, and her nutrition expertise have been featured inReader’s Digest, MSN, and Yahoo News.
Sade is an avid advocate for minority communities. She believes it is part of her purpose to empower communities that have been impacted by systemic racism and health disparities. One way she aims to empower communities is by bridging the gaps between nutrition and culture and she also specializes in helping manage new or ongoing diagnosis of hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes or GI related issues.
